Darcie Van Voorst
Darcie has been working in the social work field for over 20 years in a variety of roles including supporting youth and their families as a school liaison officer, equipping parents and professionals as a public speaker and consultant, and is now focusing her efforts as a therapist after graduating with her master’s in social work. Darcie has done extensive research on stress and trauma and her specialization in graduate school was in trauma-informed care. She is passionate about helping people gain an understanding of why they are struggling and supporting them as they work through the hard that’s standing in the way of living life abundantly. Darcie utilizes a holistic approach to healing and therapeutically involves both the brain and the body in processing hard experiences. Darcie believes that there is hope for every single person and considers it an honor to walk beside people on their journey of healing and restoration.
